Vol. 71 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Longford Dispensary Districts.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if proposal has been sanctioned by his Department to create a new dispensary district in the northern end of the County Longford by taking from the dispensary districts of Drumlish and Ballinalee the entire territory and population for the new district: if such proposal has been granted as the result of a sworn inquiry, and if the opinions of the medical officers of the existing dispensary districts have been canvassed by the Department before giving sanction to the proposal.

The reply to the first part of the question is in the negative. The proposals of the board of health have not yet been finally dealt with.
