That Dáil Eireann hereby approves of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 8) (Amendment) Order, 1938 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 175 of 1938).
That Dáil Eireann hereby approves of the Control of Imports (Quota No. 34) (Amendment) Order, 1938 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 176 of 1938).
These quota amendment orders are both consequential upon the Trade Agreement concluded with the Government of the United Kingdom. The first of these orders excludes from the scope of the order the order affecting motor cars exceeding £750 c.i.f. value on importation and the second of the orders excludes from the scope of the order the order relating to electrical filament lamps imported as part of the normal equipment of motor cars.
