Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (1) how many acres of land were acquired by the Land Commission in each year since 1933; (2) how many acres have been allotted to allottees; and (3) the average price per acre paid for land acquired in each year.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which will be circulated in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

Land Acts, 1923-36.

Area of Lands acquired for division by the Land Commission and area of lands allotted, in each financial year since the 31st March, 1933 (exclusive of lands taken over and divided on a provisional basis).
