Written Answers. - Estate of Lord Oranmore and Browne.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will now state what steps, if any, are being taken by the Land Commission to acquire for relief of the acute congestion existing in the electoral divisions of Crossboyne, Ballindine, Kilvine and Caraun, the estate of Lord Oranmore and Browne, Castlemagarrett, Claremorris, which contains nearly 2,000 acres of lands which was let in grazing for the past 20 years.

The Land Commission have considered the question of the acquisition of the lands on the estate of Lord Oranmore and Browne, County Mayo, and decided to take no action in the matter.
