Written Answers. - Employment of Young Persons.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state separately in respect of boys and girls, the number of young persons registered for employment at employment exchanges and branch employment offices at the end of the insurance years 1936/37 and 1937/38, and the number in each case for whom vacancies were found during each of these years; and further, whether he will state the numbers separately for Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford.

The following statement shows for all employment exchanges and branch employment offices and separately for Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford Employment Exchanges, the number of boys and girls on the live register at the end of the insurance years 1936/37 and 1937/38 respectively and the number of vacancies filled during each of these insurance years:—
