Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Exemption from Military Service.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the number of applications made since the full mobilisation of the Army for exemption from military service by (a) commissioned, and (b) non-commissioned ranks in (1) the Reserve, and (2) the Volunteer forces; the number of such applications which (1) have been granted, (2) are still under consideration, and (3) have been refused.

The particulars asked for are in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to have inserted in the Official Report. The particulars are as follows:—
