Vol. 77 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Winter Relief Work in Passage, County Cork.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that a sum of £1,960 has been allocated for the purpose of a scheme of winter relief work in Passage urban district, County Cork, and if he is now in a position to state when the money for carrying out the work included in the scheme will be made available.

The Minister for Finance is aware of the amount and the circumstances surrounding the allocation which has been proposed for winter relief works in each urban district and other area of the country in the current year. He expects to be in a position at a very early date to authorise the commencement of works under the winter programme in each area.
