Vol. 77 No. 7

Written Answers. - Congestion in Mayo.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that acute congestion exists on the Dillon estate in the townland of Cloondace, Knock, County Mayo, and that there are ten tenants in that townland whose poor law valuations are under £5 each; and if he will state the cause of the delay by the Land Commission in acquiring the five untenanted holdings in this townland, in which more than 100 acres is available for the relief of congestion.

I have to refer the Deputy to the reply given to his previous question on this matter on the 16th February last, to which I have nothing to add at present.
