Vol. 77 No. 7

Written Answers. - Acquisition of Tipperary Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that no employment whatsoever is being given on the lands known as the Braddel Estate, Newhill, Twosile, Borris, Thurles, County Tipperary; and if he will state what steps, it any, have been taken towards the acquisition of this estate for division among the uneconomic holders and landless men of the district.

The Land Commission have recently had an inspection made of the lands on the Braddell Estate. Their information as to the amount of employment given on the estate does not, however, accord with the Deputy's statement.
