Vol. 77 No. 11

Question on Adjournment.

I desire to give notice that I shall raise the subject-matter of question No. 3 on the Adjournment, this evening. I addressed that question to the Minister for Agriculture. It was departmentally detoured to the Minister for Supplies. Is there any remedy for that?

If the Deputy inquires he will discover that it was redirected to the Minister responsible.

It is true the Minister for Supplies is responsible for the supply of Indian meal, but the Minister for Agriculture is responsible for the consequences of the rise in the price in Indian meal. It has practically destroyed the egg and poultry industry and it was primarily because of that I wanted to raise the matter. I shall raise the whole subject on the Adjournment, with special reference to that aspect of the question.
