It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, No. 1 and No. 2. No. 3 will be taken in its appropriate place.
I move:—
That the Dáil sit later than 10.30 p.m. to-day and that the order for the adjournment be taken not later than 12 o'clock noon to-morrow, 4th January.
If all stages of No. 1 are not completed by 10.30 p.m., the Dáil will, if necessary, sit until 12 o'clock noon to-morrow, 4th instant.
Would the Minister say what it is intended to do in respect of No. 2?
We intend to proceed with No. 2 to-morrow if it is not completed to-night.
Supposing the Second Stage of No. 2 is completed to-night is it intended to get the Committee Stage to-night or is it intended to leave the Committee Stage over until next week so as to provide an opportunity of moving amendments to it or is it proposed to get it by a guillotine motion?
We would prefer to get No. 2 through, but if there is strong feeling in the House against taking the concluding or Committee Stages of No. 2, we are prepared to leave it over until next week.
