Vol. 80 No. 7

Written Answer. - Military Service Pensions.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state when a decision is likely to be reached on the applications for military service pensions lodged by Patrick O'Donovan, Bawnishal, Castletownshend, County Cork, and Jeremiah Connolly, Ardeghane, Castletownshend, County Cork, and whether it is proposed to call both applicants for oral examination immediately.

As the referee has not yet reported to me on these applications, I am not in a position to say when decisions are likely to be reached on the claims. The matter of calling the applicants for oral examination is one for the referee, but I understand from him that it is not proposed to call them immediately.
