Vol. 80 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Petrol Supplies.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state what provisions have been made for supplies of petrol to motorists (not registered in Éire) who may bring their cars into Éire for temporary use here during the tourist season.

Up to recently limited supplies of petrol were made available for incoming tourists, but I am not in a position to indicate whether it will be possible to renew these facilities. The whole matter, however, is constantly under consideration by my Department, having regard to the supplies of petrol available from time to time for essential purposes in the country.
