Vol. 80 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Military Service Pension Appeal.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the reason for the delay in dealing with the appeal lodged in June, 1938, under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, by Patrick Cahill, 37 St. Patrick's Avenue, Tipperary, and if he is now in a position to state when a decision is likely to be arrived at.

The hearing of the appeal lodged by Mr. Patrick J. Cahill has been deferred pending the receipt by the referee of certain records from the Tipperary No. 3 Brigade Committee. As these records have not yet been received by the referee, I am not in a position to state when a decision on Mr. Cahill's appeal is likely to be reached.
