Vol. 81 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers.

As there are 50 questions on the Order Paper and the normal time allotted for questions is half an hour, Deputies must exercise discretion in the number and length of supplementaries.

Might I make a submission to the Chair—that in view of the infrequent meetings of Dáil Eireann the Chair should exercise some discretion in favour of Deputies owing to the infreqnency of the opportunities to ask such questions?

The Chair will be lenient, but Deputies should not presume too much on such leniency.

Agreed, Sir.
