Vol. 81 No. 14

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, Nos. 8 and 9. When the business as ordered is completed, motions in the names of Private Deputies will be taken.

Would the Tánaiste say whether it is intended to sit next week?

No; it is proposed to adjourn for a fortnight.

Until 5th March, according to my information.

Could we have an agreement then that the motion relating to the economic council will definitely be taken this day fortnight?

Yes, unless anything of a very urgent nature arises in the meantime to upset that arrangement.

Will the Minister suspend the Standing Orders for that purpose, so as not to confine it to a three hours' debate?

Yes. If necessary, the day will be devoted to it.

Unless we get notice to the contrary then, we may assume it will be taken this day fortnight?
