Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Bourn-Vincent Memorial Park.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each year since the taking over by him of the Bourn-Vincent Memorial Park (1) the totals of moneys received by reason of (a) the letting of any part of the park or of any building in the park or of any right over or in respect of any part of the park to any person, (b) the charging of tolls for admission to the park; (2) the totals of other moneys, if any, received, by reason of the possession of the park; (3) the cost of the upkeep and maintenance of (a) Muckross House and (b) of the park.

The particulars asked for, with the exception of the figures of cost for the upkeep and maintenance of Muckross House, are set out in the following tabular statement. Separate figures of expenditure are not kept for the house, these being included in the figures of cost for the upkeep and maintenance of the park generally.

Notes:—(1) During the year 1932-33 a sum of £8,500 not included above was paid for purchase of lands and chattels. (2) During the year 1933-34, the upkeep and maintenance of the farm and receipts in respect thereof were accounted for by the Department of Agriculture under the Vote for Agriculture. The figures £914 11s. 7d. and £2,032 18s. 1d. include a sum of £566 7s. 1d., and the figure £6,179 8s. 6d. includes a sum of £964 4s. 2d. so accounted. (3) No particulars are included above in respect of the Forestry lands transferred to the Forestry Branch of the Department of Lands.
