Vol. 82 No. 7

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - The Workmen's Compensation Act.

Mr. Morrissey

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether in view of the increased cost of living he proposes to adopt the precedent established in the 1914/18 war of making additions to the rates payable under the Workmen's Compensation Act.

It is not the intention at the moment to introduce legislation with the object of increasing the rates of compensation payable under the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1934.
