Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Commission Annuities.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will consider instructing his Department not to proceed against farmers who are unable to pay their annuities owing to the stoppage of fairs.

The Land Commission are under a statutory obligation to collect the land purchase annuities as they accrue due, but in connection with the institution of proceedings against defaulters, regard will be had to the present exceptional circumstances.
