Vol. 82 No. 7

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Meath Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have acquired a small holding of about 34 statute acres from Mr. Edward Conlon, Legar, Kinnegad, Meath, on the Nicholson estate; if, also, he is aware that this man's land comprised only 140 statute acres, and that in this area large tracts of land were divided in recent years, and that no congestion exists.

The Land Commission have not acquired the lands of Ardnamullen containing some 34 acres, the property of Mr. Edward Conlon, but proceedings are in progress for their acquisition. They are aware that Mr. Conlon holds about 145 acres altogether in this townland and of the existing conditions in the neighbourhood.
