Vol. 82 No. 11

Order of Business.

The business will be as on the Order Paper, Votes 41 to 27 inclusive.

I have been informed that there is a desire, and some sort of understanding that the first three Votes, Nos. 41, 42 and 43, should be finished to-day by 12 o'clock, and that the Minister should be given 20 minutes to conclude.

That is as far as Votes 41, 42 and 43 are concerned.

As far as we are concerned, we are prepared to let the Minister have these Votes by 12 o'clock, and to give him not less than 20 minutes to reply.

I take it that it is the order of the House that I can call on the Minister, at 20 minutes to 12, to conclude.

Agreed.
