Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Salaries of County Commissioners.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the salary paid to the commissioner for (a) Leix and Westmeath; (b) Kilkenny and Waterford, for the year 1939-40; whether each commissioner is paid a separate salary for each county in his charge; what additional financial allowances, if any, are provided for each of the said commissioners, and what was the amount of these allowances in each and for each county for the year 1939-40.

There is a separate salary of £600 a year for each county. There are no additional emoluments.
