Vol. 83 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Grants in Rural Areas.

Mr. Crowley

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state whether he intends extending the operation of the Housing Acts, 1932-1940, to provide grants for the erection of houses in rural areas to private persons and public utility societies, and, if so, when he will be in a position to introduce the necessary legislation.

It is intended to introduce next week a Bill extending the date for the completion of houses in rural areas by private persons and public utility societies up to and including the 31st March, 1942.
