Vol. 83 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Sligo Farm.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that acute congestion exists on the Costello estate, Kilfree, County Sligo, where there are over 21 tenants whose poor law valuations are under £5 each, and if he will state what steps, if any, are being taken by the Land Commission to acquire the farm held by Mr. J.P. Costello, in the townland of Kilfree, for the relief of the existing congestion.

The question as to whether proceedings should be instituted for resumption of the holding of the late J.P. Costello, comprising some 50 acres of the lands of Kilfree on the Caddell estate, is under investigation by the Land Commission.
