Vol. 83 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Development Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the number of development schemes submitted by (1) Limerick City Council, (2) Limerick County Council, (3) Limerick District Mental Hospital Committee, and (4) Limerick County Board of Health that are awaiting sanction in his Department.

If the Deputy intends development schemes to cover public works which usually involve the raising of loans, I may say that my Department is in communication with the Limerick Corporation and the Limerick Board of Health on the technical aspects of several schemes, but none of them has reached the stage at which sanction could be given. There are no works awaiting sanction in the case of Limerick County Council and Limerick District Mental Hospital Committee.
