Vol. 83 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civil Servants on Loan.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state (a) the names of companies to which higher civil servants are on loan; (b) the number of such civil servants and the amount of remuneration paid in each case in respect of services to such companies; (c) the number of civil servants drawing a salary from the State and directors' fees from such companies, giving the amount in each case.

A statement of the required particulars, in so far as they are available to Government Departments, is being prepared and will be forwarded to the Deputy.

I take it the answer will be published in the Official Report, in due course?

If the House desires it, there is no objection.

If convenient, please.

The information is to be supplied later?

Perhaps it would be better if the Deputy then repeated his question.
