Vol. 83 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Military Service Pension Claim.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state what is the cause of the delay in arriving at a decision on the application of Mr. M. Donnelly, 22 St. Aidan's Park Road, Marino, Dublin, for a pension under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, and when a decision will be communicated to Mr. Donnelly.

The referee has not yet completed his investigations on the application made under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, by Mr. Michael Donnelly, 22 St. Aidan's Park Road, Marino, Dublin. It is not at present possible to state definitely when the necessary investigations will be concluded.

As this man is in a condition of pitiable poverty, will the Minister use his good offices to expedite a decision in the case?
