Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Trade Loans Acts.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will give particulars for the past ten years of the moneys guaranteed under the Trade Loans Acts to enterprises in the Twenty-Six Counties setting out in each case the amounts repaid, the amounts recoverable and the amounts which are irrecoverable.

Statements as to loans guaranteed under the provisions of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, 1924-1934 and 1939, and accounts of the total sums which have been issued out of the Central Fund and of the total sums which have been paid into the Exchequer in repayment of sums so issued are furnished to the Oireachtas in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 of the Act of 1924 and Section 11 of the Act of 1939. Statements and accounts covering the periods ended 22nd April, 1941, and 31st March, 1941, respectively, have been laid on the Tables of the Dáil and the Seanad and are available in the official Library.
