Vol. 84 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Emergency Transport of Invalids.

asked the Minister for Supplies of he will make available a supply of petrol for allocation to owners of taxi-cabs and ambulances who may be engaged to transport to reception areas invalids who wish to leave Dublin for the duration of the national emergency, and whose condition is such that they cannot travel by rail or omnibus.

The question of the transport of invalids from Dublin to reception areas is under consideration at the moment, and the necessity of making provision for a special allocation of petrol for the purpose is being kept in mind.
