Vol. 86 No. 2

Written Answers. - Unemployment Assistance Fund.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state under each heading what were (a) the receipts into, and (b) the payments out of the Unemployment Fund during (1) the 12 months commencing October 1st, 1939; and (2) the 12 months commencing October 1st, 1940.

The information sought in respect of the 12 months commencing October 1st, 1939, was given in reply to a question by Deputy Davin on 2nd April, 1941. I am circulating with the Official Report a statement showing the figures for the 12 months commencing 1st October, 1940.

Following is the statement:—
