Licences have been granted for the exportation of limited quantities of apples suitable for manufacturing purposes which could not be absorbed on the home market.
I do not propose, however, at present to grant licences to dealers for the exportation of apples of good keeping quality, as it is anticipated that these will be needed to meet home requirements.
