Vol. 89 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Road.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that there is a small portion of a road (about 50 yards) in the townland of Ballinon, Ardfield, Clonakilty, still uncompleted, and that this work was undertaken on two previous occasions under the minor relief schemes; and if he will now take steps to have this work completed.

I am unable to trace a townland named Ballinon in the electoral division of Ardfield and, accordingly, I am unable to identify the work referred to. If the Deputy will furnish more detailed particulars of the location of the road the matter will have consideration.

Ballino is the name of the townland. That is a misprint.

Apparently that is the difficulty.

Surely there is information with regard to this road in the Parliamentary Secretary's office?

How are we to identify it when we got the wrong name?

That is a clerical error, I take it.

Clerical error or no clerical error, I cannot identify it unless I get correct particulars. If the Deputy will give me correct particulars I will look it up.

Very good.
