Vol. 89 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drainage of West Cork Bog.

asked the Minister for Finance if a scheme for the drainage of the bog situated at Glounakileena, Ballydehob, has been received by his Department; if so, if he will state what the present position is regarding same, or if the work is to be undertaken in the near future.

The application referred to by the Deputy has been received and will be considered on its merits in due course.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary say, when he mentions "in due course", if that will be before the next turf season?

I can say nothing further than that it will be considered in due course. If the Deputy wants more accurate particulars, he knows where to go for them.

What does the Parliamentary Secretary mean by saying that "he knows where to go for them"?

Next question.
