Vol. 89 No. 3

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin County Council Workers' Wages.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if, in view of the recent increases granted to Gárda, teachers and agricultural labourers, and the continued rise in the cost of living, he is now prepared to reconsider his decision and grant an increase in wages as recommended by the county commissioner to road workers and carters employed by the Dublin County Council.

I have nothing to add to previous statements in which the need to establish a satisfactory relationship between the agricultural wage rate and the road workers' wages was pointed out.
