Vol. 89 No. 3

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Mayo Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands when he intends to acquire for distribution among adjoining small farmers, the remaining portion of Coolcurraun Farm, on the Perry Knox-Gore estate, Mountfalcon, County Mayo.

The Deputy's question appears to refer to the lands of Coolcurraun, Bunnafinglas and Ballycong on the estate of Perry Knox-Gore, Record No. U.12740. The Land Commission have had an inspection recently made of about 88 acres of the lands of Bunnafinglas, but they have not yet reached a decision regarding acquisition. The Land Commission are not prepared at present to take any action regarding the acquisition of the remaining lands in the townlands of Coolcurraun and Ballycong, owing to emergency conditions.
