Vol. 89 No. 3

Written Answers. - Disability Pension.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the cause of the delay in making a decision in the application of Corporal E/422311, Quinn, Michael J. (Ref. D.F.10776), for disability pension for injuries received on tactical exercises last year at Renmore, Galway.

Ex-Corporal Quinn's application, which was received on the 26th November last, for a wound pension under Section 18 of the Army Pensions Act, 1927, in respect of injury to his right hip, has been under investigation in my Department and is now being referred to the Army Pensions Board with a view to his medical examination at an early date. When the board reports to me, the question of the grant of pension will be dealt with without delay.
