Saint Laurence's Hospital Bill, 1940—From the Seanad.

The Dáil went into Committee to consider amendments by the Seanad to the St. Laurence's Hospital Bill, 1940.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 1:—

Section 15. In sub-section (2), line 49, the words "establishment date" deleted, and the words "first appointed day" substituted therefor.

These are all drafting amendments and it is proposed to accept them.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 2:—

Section 28. In page 10, sub-section (1), the words "Saint Laurence's Hospital" in line 54 deleted, and the words "Ospidéal Lorcáin Naomhtha, or, in the English language, Saint Laurence's Hospital" inserted instead.

Question put and agreed to.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 3:—

Section 36. In sub-section (1), line 11, and also in lines 13-14, the words "of Public Works in Ireland" deleted.

Question put and agreed to.
Amendments Nos. 1, 2 and 3 reported and agreed to.
Ordered: That the Seanad be notified accordingly.
