Vol. 89 No. 12

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Meath Cow Plot.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the great loss sustained by the people of Rathmolyon, County Meath, as a result of the acquisition by the Land Commission of the cow plot on the Fowler estate for division; and if he will take steps to see that, before any migrants are planted on this estate, the needs of the local people are fully catered for.

The Land Commission have not received any application from the people of Rathmolyon for the provision of a cowpark on the Fowler estate, acquired four years ago. The allotment of a considerable portion of the lands locally has probably satisfied any need that may have existed for the provision of a cowpark.
