Vol. 89 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Tipperary Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the cause of the delay in dividing the Bradall estate, Newhill, Thurles, County Tipperary; and if he is aware that those lands were inspected over three years ago and reported to be most suitable for division, that there is widespread congestion in the area, and no other estate available to relieve same; and if he will take immediate steps to have the estate acquired and divided.

The Land Commission received representations in regard to the Bradall estate, Newhill, County Tipperary, and had the lands inspected, but owing to the emergency conditions consideration of the question of acquisition has been deferred.

Will consideration of the question of the acquisition of these lands be resumed when the emergency is over?

That is a separate question.
