Vol. 89 No. 18

Written Answers. - County Dublin Road.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the road through the Cruise estate, Drynam, Malahide, County Dublin, is in a very bad condition, and that several farmers have had cart wheels broken on account of the pot-holes on this road; and, further, that considerable hardship is being inflicted on children going to school and people going to Mass; and, as this road can be described as being in a dangerous condition, if he will take immediate steps to have it repaired.

The question appears to refer to the road constructed by the Land Commission through the townland of Drinan on the McMahon estate for the benefit of the allottees. The responsibility for the maintenance of this road rests with the benefiting parties.
