Vol. 90 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Cottage Plot Sites.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that the Dublin County Council own a considerable number of plots and sites for cottages throughout County Dublin, and whether, in view of existing unsuitable housing accommodation throughout the county, he is prepared to sanction a scheme for the erection of cottages on the plots referred to.

Close attention is being given by the county commissioner to the future housing needs of the county and to the preparation of schemes for the provision of further cottages, but no large building operations are likely to take place before the present emergency conditions are over and building materials are again available in regular supply.
