Vol. 90 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Airgraph Forms.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that airgraph forms are now issued on sensitive paper on which a suitable photograph may be printed in addition to the written message, and if he proposes to obtain a supply of these forms from England and place them on sale in this country.

I am aware that sensitised replicas of the airgraph form are now accepted in the British Administration for the transmission of photographs by the airgraph service. The sensitised forms are not supplied by the British Post Office but by commercial firms and such supply, therefore, is a matter for commercial enterprise. Sensitised replicas of the airgraph form containing photographs for transmission will be accepted by my Department.
