Vol. 90 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cycling Facilities for Coast Watching Service.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he will arrange to have bicycle tyres and tubes made available to the members of the coast watching service, as it is impossible for them to attend to their duties properly without the use of bicycles.

I understand from the Minister for Defence that the arrangements for the distribution of the limited supply of cycle tyres and tubes reserved for the personnel of look-out posts of the Marine Service situated in remote areas are completed and that some have in fact been distributed.
