Vol. 92 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as on the Order Paper— items 3, 4 and 5, item 1 to be taken in its appropriate place.

Mr. Byrne

Will the House sit to-morrow?

No. It is proposed to adjourn this evening until Wednesday.

We will sit next week on Wednesday and Thursday only, not on Friday?

That has not been decided yet. The Government are always anxious to avoid Friday meetings.

Is the Friday sitting contingent upon anything?

That matter has not been decided. Generally speaking, the Government do not desire to sit on Friday.

If we get through the Children's Allowances Bill on Thursday, we will not sit on Friday?

Probably not.

Will the Dáil sit the following week?

That is too far away.

There is a holiday in that week.

That will be considered in relation to the state of business.
