Vol. 92 No. 12

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order:— No. 1, including Votes 21, 64, 42, 43, 44, 56, 69 and 30; then Nos. 3, 4, 2 and 8, as on the Order Paper. Private Deputies' business will be taken at 7.30 p.m.

Mr. Lynch

Is it proposed to sit to-morrow? There would seem to be little business left, if the Arterial Drainage Bill is finished to-day.

The reason we are anxious to know about to-morrow is that there are several motions by Private Members on the Paper, and we suggest it would be a good idea if we could get rid of some of them.

It is proposed, if discussion of the Arterial Drainage Bill finishes to-night or early to-morrow, and we finish with the Supplementary Estimates, which probably will not take long, to give the rest of the time to the discussion of the Private Members' motions that are on the Order Paper. I do not know how many we may be able to deal with, but we may be able to deal with more than one or two.
