asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the restriction on paper caused by the emergency, he will state why paper was made available for Dublin Jewish Youth Monthly, a periodical which has been inaugurated since the introduction of the Order prohibiting the allocation of paper for new publications.

No permit has been granted in respect of the periodical mentioned in the Deputy's question, and no authority has been given to use any quantity of paper in its production. The existence of this periodical has only now come to notice, and appropriate action is being taken in the matter.

I am glad to see that the Department has given such a reply. I was wondering whether——

The Deputy got an answer.

Is the Minister aware that he is very glad?

That is the question.

That would be a questionable question.
