The evidence at the sworn inquiry into the compulsory acquisition of additional plots in Limerick County revealed that Thomas McGrath, the applicant for the plot in question, had not tilled his existing plot but had sub-let it to another person. In the circumstances, I was not satisfied that the applicant was in need of an additional half-acre of land and the plot was excluded from the Compulsory Purchase Order.
