Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kildare Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission propose to acquire the lands of Mr. E. Halligan, Blackwood, Robertstown, County Kildare; and, if so, whether he will state how the matter now stands.

The Land Commission are having a fresh inspection made of the lands of Blackwood, on the Halligan estate, and meantime are not in a position to reach any decision on the matter.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission propose to divide the remainder of the estate of Mr. Thomas Cleary at Claremount, Carbury, County Kildare.

All the lands acquired by the Land Commission on the estate of Mr. Thomas Cleary, adjacent to the townland of Claremount, have been divided. There are no proceedings pending for the acquisition of the lands of Claremount owned by Mr. Cleary, and in present circumstances the Land Commission do not propose to take any action in the matter.
