Vol. 92 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Flooding.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the serious flooding of large areas of land in the townlands of Castlemaine and Callinafercy, County Kerry, due to the breaches in the embankments of the River Maine, and if he will take steps to have these embankments repaired at an early date.

The matter of flooding due to breaches in the embankments of the River Maine is under inquiry by the Land Commission, and I propose (with the Deputy's permission) to com municate to him by letter the result of such inquiry as soon as available.
