Vol. 93 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Directors of Aer Lingus.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the names, nationality, and the remuneration for services of each of the directors of Aer Lingus, Teo.

The present directors of Aer Lingus Tta., are:— Mr. John Leydon, Mr. John P. O'Brien, Mr. J. J. O'Leary, Mr. T.J. Flynn.

All four directors are of Irish nationality. There is at present a vacancy for a fifth director.

The directors receive no remuneration for their services on the Board of Aer Lingus Tta., but the same individuals constitute the Board of Directors of Aer Rianta, Tta., and in that capacity each director receives remuneration of £300 per annum. Mr. John Leydon acts, at present, as chairman.

Will the Minister indicate if the Mr. Leydon to whom he has referred is the Secretary of the Department?

That is correct.
